Transforming data to insights: Empowering mobile analytics users to discover insights

30 min Case study | Categeory: UX | Target Audience: Designers who are interested in creating beautiful app experience for mobile platform Beginner to Advanced.

User-Centered Design (UCD) puts users at the heart of the design process. Upfront research determines users’ context, goals, current experiences and any pain points. Only then does concepting, and iterating begin. Initially, it’s pencil and paper sketches, building up to wireframes, mockups and finally functional prototypes. Collecting feedback at each of these stages is key to UCD and helps hone in on optimal solutions. We will share our journey, design process - how we collected data through diverse research methods, dynamic team culture - diverse team members' backgrounds which ultimately led us to understand deeper empathy for users, cutting edge design solutions empowering business users to explore data, uncover new insights, every opportunity and take actions instantly from their mobile device. Finally, 4 design principles guided Analytics Mobile to make it not only powerful tool but also create delightful experience with rich examples - Phone first, Coherence, Fluidity, and Simplicity.
